Cherokee Springs Ladder-1,Squad-1,Car-10, and Engine-6

Station One is located at 201 Flatwood Dr. in Chesnee, South Carolina. It is home to Engine-6,manufactured by American Fire Apparatus, with a 1000gl, 1250gpm pump, and sits on an International Chasis. E-6 is the first out engine also responds to mutual aid calls to Whitney fire district.
Also at Station One is Squad-1, our extrication unit. It is a 1986 Pierce, on a Cheverolet C-30 6.2 Custom Deluxe cab. It carries a complete set of Hurst air bags, Hurst Pump with 30" spreader and cutter, and a complete set of Hurst Rams. It is also equipped with a generator, cribbing, and various tools.
Among the other trucks here at station-1 is our Ladder-1. A 102' platform that stands the tallest in the county. It is a Simon-Duplex, 2000gpm, 250gl, 7 man truck. It is first out on all commercial structure fire calls in our district.
